Rachelle's 2 Hour Buns
3 cups Luke warm water
8 tbsp sugar
6 tbsp oil
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp yeast
2 eggs
7 - 8 cups flour
mix 4 cups of flour, yeast, and salt in a large bowl.
in another bowl whip eggs, sugar, oil and water together. add to flour mixture and mix well.
gradually add rest of flour.
dough should be a bit sticky.
place in a bowl. add a bit of oil on top. cover with towel and let rise in oven for 15 mins
punch down and let rise for another 15 mins
make bus and let rise for 1/2 hour
bake at 350 for 15 minutes
can be used for cinnamon buns too

1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp baking soda
2 cups sugar
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 1/2 cup oil
4 eggs
1/2 cup raisins
3 cups grated carrots
combine dry ingredients. Gradually beat in walnuts, eggs, oil and carrots.
pour into big pan.
bake 350 for 1 hour
Frosting:
1 8oz cream cheese
1/2 cup margarine
2 tsp vanilla
1 box icing sugar (how much is a box???)
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp baking soda
2 cups sugar
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 1/2 cup oil
4 eggs
1/2 cup raisins
3 cups grated carrots
combine dry ingredients. Gradually beat in walnuts, eggs, oil and carrots.
pour into big pan.
bake 350 for 1 hour
Frosting:
1 8oz cream cheese
1/2 cup margarine
2 tsp vanilla
1 box icing sugar (how much is a box???)

Makes 3 loaves or about 2 dozen buns
2.5 cups water warmed in microwave
Mix in 3 tbsp sugar until dissolved
sprinkle on 4.5 tsp yeast
let stand 5 mins
add 3 cups flour
add 2 tsp salt
mix with dough hook
add 2 tbsp vinegar
add 1/4 cup oil
add 2.5-3 more cups of flour
mix well. knead. add more flour or water as needed. dough should be slightly tacky not sticky.
place in oiled bowl and let stand for about an hour (until doubled in size) with a damp cloth covering it
either cut in 3 for loaves or 1/2 for cinnamon buns. Shape into loaves for bread and place into greased pans. let rise.
for cinnamon buns, flatten out each half into rectangles. butter on the top as much as you want. use butter not margarine! spread cinnamon and sugar mix (3/4 cup sugar to 3 tbsp cinnamon). roll and cut into 12. place in greased pan and let stand 1 hour.
Bake at 425 for 7 mins, turn pan and bake for another 7 mins
